I.F.P.A. (Institute of Promotion and Vocational Training for Adults) is private , non-making profit vocational training organisation.
IFPA employs 150 people divided among 14 centres in urban and rural area, covering 4 regions in France (Bourgogne, Franche-Comté, Rhône-Alpes, Champagne-Ardenne) and welcomes every year about 9500 trainees .
IFPA employs 128 trainers , most of them are permanent and others are contracted for specifics tasks.
The most of our trainers received a high university education , for human science and particularly social sciences, education and training, psychology of work and clinic, others in business school.
Today , they have a lot of practical careers counselling and professional insertion experience for different people (career advice and also individual service, vocational guidance, elaboration of career plan, job searching).
They also are experienced for transfer of skill and knowledge to vocational advisers, trainers and tutors.
They lead workshops for unemployed people in local national employment offices.
Our trainers have got tools and methodology about vocational guidance, career advice, techniques of interview, method about analyse of work.
The aim of IFPA
The aim of IFPA is, since its creation in 1978 , lifelong social and professional promotion of people. IFPA offers a display of services for vocational training and careers counselling for every people who are unemployed, willing to get a new job , as well as for companies, management and development of skills, passing on knowledge.
IFPA product lines are :
integration and linguistic training courses
IFPA offers linguistic training courses for migrant people (literacy, french as foreign language) to encourage access for them to qualification, and in order to favour their integration in labour market, modules about socio-economical environment of host country, elaboration of professional project, …
IFPA offers training of trainers and tutors , as well as methodological advice about elaboration of in-house training programs, pedagogical tools.
IFPA trains vocational adviser in partnership with other vocational training organisation, with certificate accredited by Ministry of Employment.
Every year IFPA welcomes, in his various offices, 4000 persons (young people, adults, with qualification or not) as individual or group sessions , in different stages of careers path (assessment of skills, elaboration of career plan, job searching, retraining, recognition of vocational experience).
IFPA also offers to any kind of organisation management tools for human resources, identification of skills.
IFPA is engaged through many professional continuous training networks FFP (Vocational Training Trade Union), CLP (national network on social and professional insertion), in framework of European projects , and is acknowledged by regional authorities and state administrations.
Since 1995 IFPA get an audit every 3 years and is qualified by the O.P.Q.F. (national system of quality guaranteeing economical and pedagogical activity of training organisation in France) on the following fields :
